I often think to myself: Is there really any important difference between regular Coca-Cola and the much cheaper Tesco/Waitrose/Sainsbury/Co-op etc. brand cola?

A 2 litre bottle of Tesco/Waitrose/Sainsbury/Co-op etc. brand cola costs less than a 330 millilitre can of Coca-Cola. But to me, they are of equal quality when it comes down to taste.
